UI and Visual Designer, M2030

I designed the Manufacture 2030 platform from an initial concept (driving corporate sustainability), developing brand guidelines and a component library. I also worked on the 2degrees platform and public-facing website for the sustainable business community. Key milestones included working with major suppliers such as Asda-Walmart, GSK, and Unilever, being named in Sustainia’s Top 100, and joining the UN Global Opportunity Explorer.

I was the sole Designer for ExamWizard, an online assessment tool specialising in customisable exam papers aligned with educational curricula. I oversaw the entire design process, from wireframes and user testing, to high-fidelity interface designs.

I led the design of ActiveTeach, a platform that integrates digital resources for students with front-of-class teaching materials to improve classroom engagement. My primary role was user interface design, with additional responsibilities in UX design and front-end development. I also designed the Pearson Portal, a single sign-on solution for users accessing multiple Pearson products and services.

I worked on the award-winning children’s reading programs Bug Club and Wordsmith, which encompass both print publishing and interactive eBooks. My role involved commissioning illustrators, overseeing freelance designers, and providing art direction across various primary education projects. In-house design tasks included storyboarding, typesetting, illustration, vector graphic creation, and creative typography.

I worked in the Graphics studio of this renowned London department store, producing creative design solutions whilst adhering to the Liberty brand guidelines. My work included point of sale displays, events and marketing promotions, product packaging and typographic clothing designs.
